BYOUT PAINTING. The quality of work you need

Office & Retail Painting

An office refresh and a retail repaint have different priorities. Workstations, merchandise, brand colours, customer entrances and landlord requirements all shape the plan. We define the surfaces and work sequence so your space can be updated with clear responsibilities from the start.

The scope comes first

Know what goes into the work.

Finish updates for offices, stores and leased units, planned around the space and its users.

  • A room-by-room or zone-based scope
  • Colour and finish confirmation for the agreed areas
  • Protection responsibilities and an access sequence
  • Agreed wall repairs and preparation
  • Painting of the surfaces specified in the quote
  • Cleanup and a review with the project contact

Preparation with a purpose.

01 /

Map the customer and staff areas

List reception, sales floor, private offices, meeting rooms, stock areas and washrooms as required. Confirm which doors, frames and ceilings belong in the scope.

02 /

Coordinate the room contents

Agree on stock movement, workstation clearing and protection for counters or fixed fittings. Review equipment that needs special handling with the responsible site contact.

03 /

Prepare the high-use details

Assess scuffed walls, earlier signage holes and worn trim. Repairs and primer treatment are planned around the new colour and finish rather than hidden in a vague repaint allowance.

04 /

Review finish and return to use

Confirm approved colours and sheen, sequence the work zones and follow coating requirements. Review the painted areas before merchandising or furniture is returned.

Planning your project

What affects your quote?

A quote should reflect the condition and complexity of your space. We assess these factors before confirming pricing.

  • Number of rooms and work zones
  • Furniture, stock and fixed display protection
  • Repair work after previous signs or fixtures
  • Brand colours, sheen and detailed finish requirements
  • Access periods and occupancy during the work

Questions about offices & retail.

Can you use our business's brand colours?

Share the approved paint reference or colour specification. Screen colours and print codes may not translate directly to a coating, so physical colour approval is useful before the main work.

Do we need to close the premises?

That depends on access, protection and the proposed work. We discuss zoning and occupancy during assessment; continuing normal operations cannot be assumed for every site.

Can you repaint a unit before a new tenant opens?

Yes. Share the handover date, access arrangements, landlord requirements and other trades' schedules. We assess the scope and dependencies before agreeing on the work sequence.

Is ceiling painting included in an office quote?

Only when it is specified. Painted drywall, exposed services and suspended ceiling components involve different work, so the ceiling type and included areas should be clear.
